Kobe Bryant broke his nose during the NBA All-Star game in 2012 after taking a hard foul from Dwyane Wade. What happened next was truly inspiring, as Kobe told Wade that he actually LOVED IT! Kobe Bryant gave 100% every time he stepped on the court and he respected other players who did the same. The 2020 NBA All-Star MVP Award is going to be named in his honor, and this injury story is a perfect example of why this is so appropriate.
Kawhi Leonard won the 2020 NBA All star game MVP, and I think Kobe would have been real proud of how hard those guys played.
