Prof. (Dr.) Madabhushi Sridhar Acharyulu, one of the most celebrated former Central Information Commissioners and a renowned academician and authority in the field of Privacy Law and Media Law. Dr. Acharyulu is a celebrated name in the country's legal education scenario too, having been a Professor, IPR Chair Professor, and later Registrar at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and presently incumbent as Dean, School of Law, Bennett University. Sir has also been awarded with Prayukt Samman and Best Teacher Award by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. Acharyulu has made immense contributions to the nation's RTI jurisprudence, with several landmark probes ordered and numerous key decisions rendered on voter and student rights as well as the duties of public institutions, including the RBI.
