Samsung's Download Mode is a way for us to securely send firmware images to the device over a USB cable. Most Android smartphones and tablets use Fastboot Mode for this function.
Samsung likes to change things up a lot of the time and this is one example. Instead of using Fastboot.exe we are instead going to use a PC program known as Odin.
To do that though, we need to boot the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra into what is known as Download Mode. Many also refer to this special boot mode as Odin Mode as well.
