Faithful Christians commemorate Ash Wednesday to mark commencement of lent

Today is Ash Wednesday, which marks forty days before Easter and the beginning of lent.
Here in Benin City, Some Churches held special services to commemorate the Ash Wednesday, where the ash was used to put mark of the cross on the forehead of faithful Christians.
