➡ What's better than staying on Madeira Island? Sailing around Madeira Island on an epic luxury yacht!
The Madeiran boat company, Rota dos Cetáceos, who offers whale and dolphin tours also has a luxury yacht for private charter. Pedro, the owner, invited us out to go for a lovely trip around the beautiful São Lourenço peninsula which is a rock formation made out of hardened lava. You can hike this scenic nature park, but much better than that; you can sail around it. And so we did, where we enjoyed amazing sushi from the local Funchal restaurant, 100 Per Cento Sushi, which was some of the best sushi we have ever had. And in this environment it doesn't get any better. Sitting on a yacht with wine and beer and good company, well, does it get any better?
Going on a private yacht tour with Rota dos Cetáceos has been one of the highlights of exploring Madeira Island and trust us, there have been MANY highlights!
