In its bid to industrialize the sunflower sector in Tanzania, the Government of Tanzania has implemented tax and trade policy changes. Dalberg in partnership with Agricultural Markets Development Trust (AMDT), Agricultural Non State Actors Forum (ANSAF), Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania (SAGCOT), Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) and USAID conducted a progress review of the sunflower sub-sector to assess the impact of initiatives towards industrialization within the value chain. This video examines the effect of these policy changes on smallholder farmers and industries within the sector.
