St. Patrick's Day is coming up soon, and we wanted to uncap a bottle of last year's St. Patrick's Day "Traditional" Irish Mead. This was home brewed with heather tips, elder flowers, malt extract, and of course - honey! This may be technically in the braggot beer category these days, but this old-school recipe dug up online calls this honey wine a mead with an "e". Meade! So how is it? Total flop, or smooth sipper?
