Couple on coronavirus ship get wine delivered by drone to their cabin Jan and Dave Binskin are not letting coronavirus dampen their weekend (Picture: Jan Dave Binskin/Facebook) A couple quarantined on a ship in Japan have not let coronavirus fears ruin their weekend by ordering wine to their cabin via a drone.  Jan and Dave Binskin have been stuck on the Diamond Princess for eight days, where 169 people on board have tested positive for the virus which has officially been named Covid-19. But the pair are determined to keep in good spirits and ordered a few bottles of wine directly to their cabin, where they have mostly been confined.  They shared an image on Facebook of several bottles of Pinot Noir and wrote: ‘Naked Wine Club your incredible just got the first drop thank God for drones the Japanese coast guard did not know what the f***k was going on [sic]’. The pair shared another image of Mr Binskin holding a glass of wine while wearing a face mask in their cabin, captioned: ‘Happy hour drone wine’. The couple ordered the bottles of wine straight to their cabin via a drone (Picture: Jan Dave Binskin/Facebook) Mr Binskin was pictured enjoying his Pinot Noir while being quarantined on the ship (Picture: Jan Dave Binskin/Facebook) Last night they wrote: ‘Further to my posts today Captain just announced another 38 people are positive… s**t’.  The couple have also been asking members in local Facebook groups for updates on what is happening back home, while the number of people infected globally reaches more than 44,600 and the death toll hits over 1,100.  ‘Quarantined on the Diamond Princess in Yokohama Japan now into Day 6 of 14 we are confined to our cabin,’ the couple wrote on a group while sharing a picture of them wearing face masks.  ‘[We] get let out every 4/5 days for 1 hour walk on the deck we are well and in good spirits so far would appreciate any local news.’  Meanwhile, British couple David and Sally Abel who are also stuck on board said life on the ship is getting harder by the day.
